Thank you for your patronage during 2009. A lot has taken place as we push on through 2010, so it’s time to catch up.
2009 brought a summer of filming on Lake George as my partners and I are developing a pilot series called “On the Lake”. We hope to debut the program locally on ABC affiliate News Channel 13 during the summer of 2010 and then shop the pilot for a television contract to encompass additional shows. The premise of the program is to take the viewer on tours through some of the more interesting and spectacular homes that grace the shoreline and delve into the basin’s rich history. In addition we do a piece on ghost stories, have a how to take a great picture segment led by a world class photographer and follow a scurvy crew of landlocked pirates as they raise havoc throughout the area and on- set.
ForPeopleWhoThink.com is our new website where visitors can purchase my books and films along with those by my partner, Dan Lynch. It has been an extremely active site and we are proud of the monies raised for various charitable causes including the Haiti disaster, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, an orphanage in India, Capital District residents in need of assistance and others. Please visit the site to also see what events that Dan Lynch and I will be appearing at for signings or advance viewings. Also check out our blogs, they cover local political issues, current projects and I throw in a movie review with my opinion of the latest offerings.
In addition my partners, Dan Lynch, Robert English and I started a publishing company during 2009 called “Three Lakes Publishing”. Our first offering was Dan Lynch’s new historical novel, “The Thunder of Captains”. A stirring account of how the misguided love of a general changed the course of our nation’s history set against the backdrop of “The Battle of Saratoga”. For more information about the book and company please visit www.forpeoplewhothink.com. “Three Lakes Publishing” is currently working with former WNYT newscaster Ed Dague who is penning a memoir tentatively entitled “TV Daze”, a tell-all about his days in local news broadcasting. We hope to offer this book in the fall of 2010.
During 2010 I hope to complete my latest novel, “A Royal Treatment” and pen another movie script called “When We Were Warriors”.
